Nurses

Nurses are not praised enough
The job they have is very tough
Some patients yell at them, it is not fair
Do not disparage them, they truly care
They apologize if they cause you pain
When trying to stick that finicky vein
While they are not perfect, they try their best
A heart of gold lies within their chest
They take care of us all, it’s what they love
Nurses are, indeed, a gift from above
